Pooja Dugar, a very passionate early educator who believes that each child is truly “unique”. With 8 years of experience in the field of early education, she really knows and understands how important the early years are for a child. She believes that “Mind is everything” and if at a young age these minds can be fed with the right knowledge, thoughts and values the resonance is life-long.
Being a mother herself she was always on a lookout as to how can she bring up her child more holistically. This helped her find her true calling. Having completed her training in Montessori education in APM and spending 3 years as a teacher in Sri Sri Academy she started Globetrotters, teaching diversity to young children. After gathering experience over the years and cultivating her passion to teach, Pooja decided to start her own preschool where she is nurturing young minds, with love to be lifelong independent learners and happy individuals.
The enriched curriculum features a unique partnership of core subjects, Maths and English, with culture studies and fine arts, including Yoga and Music, providing children with the freedom to learn through play. Pooja realized that a curriculum that goes beyond Montessori aimed at engaging and teaching the whole child was needed. When she couldn’t find it, she began creating a curriculum that incorporates into the Montessori programme of study, contemporary ideas from the Play Way method and also hones a child’s multiple intelligences. She is inspired by teaching children and promoting their creativity.
